Red Moles On My Skin, and What Do I Do About Them?

I have moles. You have moles. As Barney Fife would say, all God's children have moles. In fact, doctors estimate that each person born into this world contains anywhere from 10-50 moles on his or her skin.

You're born with all the moles you're ever going to have, but sometimes maturation does not occur till later in life.

This skin condition is so common, in fact, that when something as seemingly uncommon as red moles appear on your skin, you're liable to become alarmed.

Just what are red moles?

Like any other mole, red moles are discolorations in the skin and may be either flat or raised. Red moles are usually tender to the touch and lumpish. They are more often than not benign, but they can pose serious health risks if, like regular moles, they become cancerous and are not treated.

More than likely, red moles are handed down from one generation to the next. Overexposure to UV rays is also cited as a likely influence in the maturation of a red mole.

How Will I Know If A Red Mole Is Dangerous?

Especially as you get older, it is a good idea to routinely examine your body. Getting out of the shower is usually when I check for changes in the moles, red or otherwise, on my skin. No one knows my body as well as I do, and while I am not exactly qualified to hand out medicine to myself, I am more than qualified to notice abnormalities.

Chances are you are the same way. Observation is really your greatest power in making sure that the red moles on your skin have not become something more. Therefore, it is important that you check for sudden changes to the size, shape, or color, of every mole on your body, and not just the red ones.

What Do I Do About Changing Red Moles?

We'll start with one word: biopsy. You may wish to start with a doctor-ordered biopsy to determine if the red mole is cancerous before going to the next step of complete mole removal or more intensive treatments.

As with all things medical, it is best for you to let the doctor decide, and to neither take matters into your own hands nor wait too long with the idea that what you don't know won't kill you. The unknown can do just that, and it would be foolish to play that card.

What Kind Of Treatment Is Best For Me?

You - or rather your doctor - can cut it, burn it, freeze it, zap it, or shock it, off. The more technical names for these procedures:

  • Excision (the cut)
  • Cauterization (the burn)
  • Cryosurgery (the freeze)
  • Laser surgery (the zap)
  • Electro surgery (the shock)

Speaking as a man of low pain tolerance who has had two of these operations performed - cauterization and cryosurgery - I recommend either one. It pleasures me to say that you won't feel a thing.

But again, the best course of action? Consult your doctor!

The Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha - Part V

The Knights which belonged to the great orders during the Middle Ages were regarded by the Church in a manner analogous to those monks whose three vows they professed and whose immunities they shared. They answered to the pope and to him only; they each had their chapels, their clerics, and their very own cemeteries, all of which were exempt from the jurisdiction of the secular clergy. Their landed property was free from tithes or any other taxes. They were not subject to the interdicts which the bishops in those days so freely employed as a means of controlling the people. However, they did not all follow the same monastic rule. The Templars as well as all the Orders derived from them followed the Cistercian Reform. On the other hand, the Hospitallers followed the Rule of St. Augustine. Nevertheless, in consequence of the relaxation which manifested itself among them after the period of the crusades, the Holy See introduced mitigations in favour of the non-clerical brethren.

For these it was difficult to maintain the rule of celibacy in all its rigour; they were permitted, in certain orders, to marry once, and that only with a maiden. Even where second marriages were tolerated, they had to vow conjugal fidelity, so that if they violated this obligation of the natural law they sinned doubly against the law and against their vow. Besides the three vows, the rule bound the brethren to the exercises of the monastic life and all it entailed, including the recitation of the Hours, for which, in the case of illiterates, a fixed number of Paters was substituted. It also prescribed their dress and their food, and their feast, abstinence, and fast days. Lastly, the rule imposed detailed obligations in regard to the election of dignitaries and the admission of members to the two ranks of combatants -- knights and men-at-arms -- and the two of non-combatants -- chaplains, to whom all sacerdotal functions were reserved, and casaliers, or tenants, who were charged with the management of temporal affairs.

Military organizations

The military organization of the orders was uniform, explained by that law of war which compels the belligerent to maintain his military apparatus on a level with those of his adversary, on pain of defeat. The strength of an army was in its cavalry, and to this type the armament, mounting, and tactics of the military orders conformed. The knights-brethren were the heavy cavalry; the men-at-arms-brethren, the light cavalry. The former were entitled to three horses a piece; the latter had to be content with one.

Among the former, only knights of tried prowess were admitted, or, in default of this qualification, sons of knights, because in such families the warlike spirit and military training were considered to be hereditary. The result was that the knights, properly so-called, were never very numerous; they formed a corps d'élite which carried the great mass of the crusaders. Gathered in convents which were also barracks, combining with the passive obedience of the soldier, the spontaneous submission of the religious, living shoulder to shoulder in brotherly union, commander and subordinate, these orders surpassed, in that cohesiveness which is the ideal of every military organization, the most famous bodies of picked soldiery known to history, from the Macedonian phalanx to the Ottoman Janissaries.

The Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha - Part IV

Saint Agatha of Sicily, whose death is traditionally said to have taken place in the year 251, Saint Agatha is regarded as a Christian Saint whose memorial is commemorated on the 5th of February of each year . Agatha was born in Catania, and she was allegedly a sacrificial victim on 251 as history tells us. . She is one of seven ladies, not including the Blessed Virgin Mary, who are commemorated by name in the Canon of the Catholic Church.

Agatha is buried at the Badia di Sant'Agata, in Catania. Her written legend, created to support her existing cultus, is comprised of "straightforward accounts of interrogation, torture, resistance, and triumph which constitute some of the earliest hagiographic literature" . According to legend, having dedicated her virginity to God, Agatha, rich and noble rejected the amorous advances of the low-born Roman prefect, Quintinianus, and was therefore persecuted by him for her Christian faith. She was handed over to Aphrodisia, the keeper of a brothel, and her nine daughters, but in response to their threats and entreaties to sacrifice to the idols and submit to Quintianus, she responded:

"My courage and my thought be so firmly founded upon the firm stone of Jesu Christ, that for no pain it may not be changed; your words be but wind, your promises be but rain, and your menaces be as rivers that pass, and how well that all these things hurtle at the foundement of my courage, yet for that it shall not move".

Among the tortures which she had to endure was the cutting off of her breasts which was and still is a barbaric act of cruelty. In the meantime, an apparition of Saint Peter cured her. Saint Agatha died in prison, according to the Legenda Aurea in "the year of our Lord two hundred and fifty-three in the time of Decius, the emperor of Rome."

Saint Agatha is often depicted iconographically carrying her excised breasts on a platter, as portrayed by Bernardino Luini's Saint Agatha in the Galleria Borghese, Rome, in which Agatha sweetly contemplates the breasts on a standing salver held in her hand, an impressive and bone chilling ilustration by any standard. The shape of her amputated breasts, especially as depicted in artistic renderings, gave rise to her attribution as the patron saint of bell-founders and as the patron saint of bakers, whose loaves were blessed at her feast day. More recently, she has been venerated as patron saint of breast cancer patients, a simbol recognized worldwide.

Basques have a tradition of gathering on Saint Agatha's eve (Santa Ageda bezpera in Basque) and going round the village. Homeowners can choose to hear a song about her life, accompanied by the beats of their walking sticks on the floor or a prayer for those deceased in the house. After that, the home-owner donates food to the chorus. This song has varying lyrics according to the local tradition and the Basque language. An exceptional case was that of 1937, during the Spanish Civil War, when a version appeared that in the Spanish language praised the Soviet ship Komsomol, which had sunk while carrying Soviet weapons to the Second Spanish Republic.

An annual festival to commemorate the life of Saint Agatha takes place in Catania, Sicily, from February 3 to 5. The festival culminates in a great all-night procession through the city for which hundreds of thousands of the city's residents turn out.

The Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha - Part III

Following the much sought after conquest of the island of Minorca, by Alfonso III in the year 1288, a small number of very prominent military men were bestowed with the dignified rank of knight by the King, as a sort of reward for their agreeing to settle in the fortress of Saint Agatha, together with keeping horse and armour, and defending the island whenever called upon to do so.

The King entrusted these men with this assignment as a result of the military prowess which they all displayed during the battles and skirmishes which culminated on the conquest of the Island by the King as his consorts. There is some debate among scholars in this field as to whether this was indeed an Order of Chivalry, or whether it should be better categorized as a military-type confraternity, given its purely military origins and purpose, but nonetheless, the Order was founded by the Royal decree of King Alfonso II, on the 23rd of January, 1289. According to the tradition so aptly documented by the 7th Duke of Carcaci (whose full name was Francesco Paternò Castello e Sammartino) in his book "L'Ordine del Collare", this collection of knights became known throughout the kingdom, and in other kingdoms as well, as "the knights from St. Agatha".

The Protectress and Patron Saint of the Order was, and remains so today, Saint Agatha, Virgin and Martyr, whose feast day on the 5th of February is celebrated together with that of the Order itself. Saint Agatha's heroic exploits in defence of Christian principles, more than qualify her as an appropriate choice for the Protectress of a Knightly Order. The mantle of the Order, which nowadays is worn only inside of a church, consists of a plain White tunic, with a sanguine-red collar and, on the left breast, a representation of the Aragonese Cross (which is worn in full colours by Knights, but in a completely golden version by the Dames of the order). The tunic is closed using a golden chain, affixed at each end to the golden head of a lion. The usual ranks or categories of membership (which include Justice, Grace, and Profession) are distinguished from each other by the addition of a golden stripe on the collar of the tunic.

The so-called Bars of Aragon, Royal arms of Aragon, Four Bars, Red Bars, Pales of the House of Barcelona or Coat of arms of the Crown of Aragon, which consists of four red pallets on a background of gold, depicts the familiar coat of the Counts of Barcelona and the Kings of Aragon. It differs from the flag in that the latter makes use of fesses. It is one of the oldest known European coats of arms, and it dates back to at least the year 1150, and the Royal seal of Raymond Berengar IV of Barcelona. It is also the main element of the coats of arms of the present-day Spanish Autonomous Communities of Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands.

The Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha - Part II

James I, also known as "James the Conqueror" lived between February 2nd 1208 and July 27th 1276. He was the King of Aragon, the Count of Barcelona, and the Lord of Montpellier between the years 1213 and 1276, the year of his death. His long reign coincided with the expansion of the kingdom of Aragon southward as well as into and across the Mediterranean Sea, as far as Naples. His kingdom also expanded to include Valencia to the south and the Balearic Islands, Sicily and the Kingdom of Naples to the east. Through a treaty with the French king Louis IX, he also added Barcelona into the domain of his crown. He played a similar role in the reconquest as his contemporary, King Ferdinand III of Castile.

His successor king Alfonso III founded The Military Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha in 1289 with the aim of defending the island of Minorca. Across the centuries his descendents have been charged with keeping it alive. The Militare Ordine del Collare, as it is called in Italian, today is what is called a "Dynastic Order", which is to say that its office of Grand Master remains attached to the sovereign prince who initially founded the Order, and said office is inherited by the successors of the Grand Master. In addition to any charitable or spiritual aims, members of such Orders are bound by an oath of loyalty to the Grand Master of the Order. Although in the present day, the organization has lost its military character, its members now dedicate themselves chiefly to the carrying out of charitable events or through its Hospital System, which has served across the years to provide the underserved with much needed medical care which they would otherwise be unable to afford.

For many years, the Military Order of the Collar remained almost a Family Order, its membership largely restricted only to relatives and close associates. In recent times, the legitimacy of the Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha has been recognised by the United Court of Bari (in English),as well as by the English Court of Appeals in Pistoia and by the International Court of Arbitration located in Ragusa. The MOC was reconstituted in 1961, when a number of new Statutes were issued and revised on several occasions. Since his accession to the office of Grand Master, HRH Don Francesco, has greatly emphasized works of charity, which he regards as the primary purpose of the Royal House. Over the years, members of the Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha have raised considerable sums of Money for the purpose of charity, and have also performed countless charitable acts aimed at relief of suffering on a world wide scale, activities which are in keeping with the highest aims of the Order.

Members of the Military Order of the Collar (M.O.C.) officially meet at least twice a year; one of those meetings is held in Sicily, while the other meeting is held in a different city, with a different city being chosen every year. In 2007, that other city happened to be Palma.

The Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha

The term chivalry is the general term used to describe the system of knights which flourished during the of the middle ages, but the term means much more than simply referring to those gentlemen who fought on horseback and adhered to a set of values dictating that they should honour and serve ladies and maidens. Orders of Chivalry first developed during that period in conjunction with the military undertakings commonly occurring in Western Europe against any one of the several non-Christian states of the time. Similar to the ubiquitous monastic orders of that era, the original orders of chivalry also sought to have their members sanctified by the church by means of fighting against such non-Christians, or "infidels", and by offering protection to religious pilgrims. Members of these orders all had to take a set of vows and adhere to an established system which regulated their activities.

The Militare Ordine del Collare di Sant'Agata dei Paternò, which is also known as the Military Order of the Collar (M.O.C.), is recognized by the Italian Courts and many experts as being a legitimate Order of chivalry of the Cross, and as such, is not subject to the traditional international law, belonging to the Head of Name and Arms of the Royal House of Aragon of the dynasty of Paternò Castello e Guttadauro Ayerbe Aragona of the Dukes of Carcaci and of the Princes of Emmanuel under its Grand Master H.R.H. Don Francesco, Duke of Perpignan. The Order was founded in 1289 by King Alfonso III as a chivalric association and restored as a dynastic order of knighthood in 1855. It is a non-national Order as defined by the Law of the 3rd March 1951 of the Republic of Italy. The Protectress and Patron of the Order is Saint Agatha, Virgin and Martyr, whose Feast is celebrated as that of the Order on 5th February. Saint Agatha's heroic defence of Christian principle makes her a very appropriate Protectress for an Order of Knights. The principal aim of the Order as restored is to propagate in the modern world the tradition of chivalry as a way of life. It practices good works principally through its Hospitaller Service.

Chivalry is the generic term for the knightly system of the Middle Ages and for virtues and qualities it inspired in its followers. The word evolved from terms such as chevalier (French), caballero (Spanish), and cavaliere (Italian), all meaning a warrior who fought on horseback. The term came to mean so much more during medieval times.

Chivalric orders first appeared with military activities against non-Christian states. During the Middle Ages, Western Europe aggressively sought to expand its area of control. The first orders of chivalry were very similar to the monastic orders of the era. Both sought the sanctification of their members through combat against "infidels" and protection of religious pilgrims, and both had commitments that involved the taking of vows and submitting to a regulation of activities.

The Militare Ordine di Collare di Sant'Agata dei Paternò

The Militare Ordine di Collare di Sant'Agata dei Paternò was founded by King Alfonso III of Aragon on the 23rd January 1289 as a knightly association with the purpose of defending Minorca. The member knights were obliged to live in the Fortress of Saint Agatha, and so became known as "the knights from Saint Agatha". They were each allocated a plot of land sufficient to maintain them in arms with a horse ("cavalleria"). The cavallerias were still active in the year 1600 and some even survived into the 19th century. When the 7th Duke of Carcaci travelled to the Balearics in the mid 18th century the remaining descendants told him of this ancient chivalric institution known as "the knights from Saint Agatha".

The Royal House to which Alfonso III belonged was founded by King James I of Aragon, "James the Conqueror". They reigned over Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Sicily until 1410 when King Martin I died without children and the dynasty lost power due to a coup d'état known as the "compromise" of Caspe in 1413. The headship of the Royal House continued through the House of Ayerbe and the Princes of Cassano until 1834, when the last Prince of Cassano died in Italy without children. The then reigning Bourbon King of The Two Sicilies, Ferdinand II, called upon the various and complex branches of the dynasty to summon a family conclave to decide who was now to be the head of the family. The decision of the conclave was that HRH don Mario was to succeed to the headship of the family and as Grand Master of the chivalric patrimony. In 1855 the Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha was re-established as a dynastic Order (family Order) on the foundation of the knights of Saint Agatha founded by King Alfonso III.

The legitimacy of the Order of the Collar of Saint Agatha was recognised early as 18th May 1851 by the Bourbon King of the Two Sicilies, whose officials were required to record its conferrals in the Registry Office of the Kingdom. On 30th March 1853 the Governor of the Province of Catania, in the name of the King, allowed only three exceptions to the Royal prohibition on the wearing of orders other than Royal Sicilian Orders, these being Papal Orders, the Order of Malta and the Military Order of the Collar. In 1859 the Royal Commission on Titles of Nobility examined the claims of the House of Paternò to confer titles and bestow Orders and it advised the King that such acts, titles and Orders were legitimate. In 1860 the reigning Head of State, H.M. King Francesco II, approved this decision by Royal Decree and ordered its execution throughout the Kingdom. The King also recognised Don Mario as hereditary Grand Master of the Order and made various provisions to ensure the succession to the Grand Magistracy. From 1860 to 1960 the Order remained almost a Family Order, largely restricted in its membership to relatives and close associates. The Order was reconstituted in 1961 with an international organisation, and new Statutes have been issued and revised on a number of occasions.

The position of the Royal House in Italy was recognised in the Rivista Araldica 1913 and 1922 and in the Libro d'Oro 1922 as being a foreign sovereign family residing in Italy. Three Italian Courts have tried and decided that the Royal House and the Military Order of the Collar are legitimate. The United Court in Bari had already on 13th December 1952 declared that this Royal House was legitimate including "the exercise of the Grand Magistry of the Orders of Chivalry conferred by their family". The Court of Appeal in Pistoia on 5th June 1964 specifically tried the question if this Order violates the Italian law nr 178 from 1951, and found that it does not. Again, the Ordinary Tribunal of Ragusa found on 28th January 2003 that the Head of this Royal House has "the quality of a subject of international law and of Grand Master of non-National Orders within the terms of the Law of the 3rd March 1951, no 178".

One of Europe's leading experts on public law, Professor Jacob Sundberg, has declared that the Head of the Royal House has rank equivalent to a Head of State. Among the members of the Order today are found Heads of State, Ambassadors, Bishops, Politicians etc.

How To Make Money Online Selling E-Books

Many successful Internet Marketers are making a great living selling information products online because they recognize that selling e-books is a great opportunity. Let's take a closer look at what the business model looks like. In a few moments, you will see why this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Successful businessmen and entrepreneurs understand that running profitable business is all about profit margins. In other words, to put that in simple terms, it's about the amount of money that you can put into your pockets, after deducting all business expenses. Think about the businesses around you - clothing, computers, services, etc. All of these business models involve an upfront cost to get started. This is the money that you sink into your business even before you start seeing any money. And if you are lucky, the revenue generated from your sales may just exceed the money you have invested, and you make a profit. The risks are high.

For e-book businesses, there are no such risks. That is because the costs involved in writing an e-book are very low. You can write the book yourself, or you can hire someone else to write the entire product for you. The best part is, you only have to do this once. There are no printing costs involved. When the e-book has been completed, you can sell it for as much as you like, and keep 100% of the sales revenues. That is an amazing profit margin for any business.

You may even consider selling ebooks with resale rights. These are materials that have been written by other experts in the industry, and they are selling away their products with resale rights. That means you can immediately start an e-book publishing business without having to write a single word.

For an e-book to sell well, the information should ideally come from an expert. People trust experts more because they know that whoever wrote that e-book has the solution that they are looking for. Hence, they are more likely to make a purchase. To penetrate a market, most publishers will contact these experts, and ask them to develop an informational product. There is a fair amount of work involved, and you may have to wait for weeks before the e-book is completed.

With resell rights products, you don't have to do any of that leg work. All you have to do, is purchase the ready made product off the shelf, and direct it to your target customers. Some creative marketers even use resale rights products to run a membership site. They have customers paying them a membership fee each and every month and they don't even have to come up with the content!

Target customers make up the other part of the success formula. Now that you have great products to sell, all you need is customers. Fortunately, this is the easy part. The Internet is a huge place, and you can get targeted traffic using one of the many traffic generation methods. Some popular traffic methods include pay per click advertising, ezine advertising, affiliate traffic, article marketing, and SEO.

The word Blog is also used to denote the act of posting to the Blog.  Blogs can be set to accept commentary from the readers or not depending on the owner's desire.

debtconsolidationleadsusa.com

Debt consolidation leads are the 1st step in a debt consolidation business bringing debt relief to the consumer.  Each day, thousands of people search for the term "debt consolidation", "debt relief", "online credit card debt consolidation" and more looking for help with their unsecured debt.   Debt consolidation services buy leads from websites in order to contact those seeking debt consolidation.

But what is debt consolidation?  Debt consolidation is the taking out of one loan to pay off several loans, usually at a lower interest rate or at a fixed interest rate.  It is often used with credit card debt and other forms of unsecured debt.

Debt consolidation can also be a secured loan against assets put up as collateral.  This allows a lower interest rate as the asset owner agrees to the forced sale of the assets provided as security should this be necessary to pay the loan.

In some cases, debt consolidation services can offer a discount on the loan.  If there is a possibility of bankruptcy the debt consolidator can buy the loan at a discount.  Consolidation can affect the debtor's ability to discharge debts if they go into bankruptcy and therefore is not a step to be taken lightly.

A good debt consolidation leads gives the debt consolidation service the amount of each debt, the type of debt, the total of the unsecured loan and how they prefer to be contacted and when the best time to contact them is.

Some Debt Consolidation Lead services offer the option of paying for the lead online.

Debt consolidation leads are the first step in a process that has saved hundreds of thousands of Americans a considerable amount of money on their unsecured debt payments.

While many of them are of doubtful veracity, one internet business is making waves as being open, direct, easy to understand and do, and which also have a proven track record of success.  The person behind it is Mr. Bert Seither and the business is called SiteFlipGuru. It can be found at www.siteflipguru.com.

Website flipping is not a unique concept. It is similar to the concept of house flipping where investors buy a property, refurbish it and sell it off as soon as possible for a profit. The difference is that in the case of website flipping the investment and risk are much less, while the profits are extremely attractive. Also, unlike in the case of real estate, no specialized knowledge of construction, repair and property markets is required.

Bert Seither has made a career out of website flipping and has been extremely successful at it. The secrets of the business, including where to find websites to flip, what kind of sites are the easiest and what are the most profitable and how to add value to a site so that the flips generate a good profit are all cover in his ebook "Site Flip Guru." Anyone interested in making money out of website flipping can download this ebook form www.siteflipguru.com.

What makes Bert Seither's ebook unique is that he does not promise over night riches with little or no work. He states up front that to flip websites a person has to put in some amount of work and sincere effort. Mr. Seither does not promise any free lunches.

  • More -

But he does offer a program of well planned and constructive website flipping that can become a lucrative career that can be either a part time occupation or a profitable hobby or, if one is serious about it, become a career with a huge income generation potential.

Website flipping does not require such a huge commitment that it becomes one's main occupation. The amount of time that a person puts into the work depends on how much is available and how much the person wants to devote to it. The best part of the system is that even if a small amount of time is devoted to website flipping, it can still be a serious means of adding significantly to ones income. In fact, Bert Seither's website - www.sitefiplguru.com opens with an invitation to stay at home moms, people looking for home business opportunities, internet marketers and people seeking money making opportunities. The invitation is a chance to take part in a "genuine business opportunity for all those who like more money for (a lot) less work."

It is completely legal to flip websites, as it is to flip houses. Anyone can do it and start making money almost immediately. This is a business that is not impacted by economic slowdowns and recessions and makes both an ideal home business opportunity for those who can devote enough time to it or just a highly profitable way to supplement one's income. Website flipping can result in thousands of dollars of additional income a week without affecting a person's regular occupation in any way.

Domain Names and Domain Registration Tips

Domain registration very important to a website if you are considering getting a presence on the Internet. The website is how your prospects and customers locate you. It's like a store front. Therefore, your domain name should be something that is easy to remember. Here are some tips that you may find useful.

1) Register your company name.

This is not always the best thing to do. If you already have a company name that is well known by your customers, then it makes sense to register your company name as the domain name. Your existing companies will remember your company name, and type it in as the URL to try and locate you online. But if you are starting a new business, perhaps you may wish to consider the next tip.

2) Register a domain name with your target keywords in it.

On the Internet, you need to get traffic to your website in order to capture leads or make sales. The search engines can provide a steady stream of traffic if you rank well. And sites that rank well in the search results are more valuable because of the free traffic that the sites are getting. It is easier to rank well if you own a domain name with the target keyword phrase in the URL. For example, if your are offering gardening tools, then choose a domain name with the words "gardening tools" in it. The domain will instantly become more valuable once it starts to rank in the search engines.

3) Pick something that is easy to remember.

If you want to brand your website, it makes sense to choose something that is easy to remember. Most website visitors don't bother to bookmark URLs. So a short and catchy domain name makes it easy for people to remember your website, and revisit it at a later date.

4) Register several domain names at one go.

If you own a valuable company name, you may wish to grab all top level domain names such as .com, .net, and .org. This is to prevent cyber squatters who register domain names purely with the intention of selling them off and making a profit later. If you register all the top level names, the names belong to you. In addition, your customers won't be easily confused by the various domain names since you own all of them.

5) For greater discounts, register for longer durations.

A domain name registration costs very little nowadays. But to enjoy steeper discounts, you may wish to register for a longer duration. For instance, instead of registering for just one year, register for at least 5 years and above.

6) Remember to activate auto renew.

Finally, remember to let your domain name registrar auto renew your domain. Sometimes, you may be out of the country or you may not have access to your email for some reason. If your domain name expires before you can renew it, someone else may grab the domain name. You may have lost a valuable piece of virtual real estate when that happens.

Aluminium CNC miling and custom plastic products

Aluminium CNC stands for computer numerical control - this is automation of machine tools, operated by abstractly programmed commands encoded on a medium. You can see an example of aluminium CNC 3D here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlzWStZP5Iw. Aluminium is a great material for miling because it's a metal with a great ratio between mechanical properties, it's own weight and it's price. Aluminium CNC is possible for milling, casting and welding. Many companies use 5 axis aluminium CNC machining - this is connected to the option of the CNC machine to move a part or a tool on 5 different axes at the same time. Usually machines which weld aluminium or a custom plastic product can only move a part in two directions (X and Y), and can only move the tool up and down (Z). In comparison to aluminium, a custom plastic product is made because plastic materials like LDPE, HDPE and PP feature great mechanical properties, processing options, resistance and price. If customers don't want a custom plastic product, alternative materials are used for rotational moulding - like tampowood, tampostone and tampoglass.

Eating Healthy - How to Eat Healthy and Have a Higher Quality Life

The saying "You are what you eat" is true to a certain extent. Your quality of life, is directly related to the kind of food that you consume. Food is converted into fats, nutrients and ultimately energy by the body. Only with a level of energy can you lead a higher quality life. It's hard to do anything without energy.

If you have a low energy level, you find that you don't feel like playing with your kids, go out on social events, play sports, etc. You just want to do less because you feel tired and lethargic all the time. Your career and work may even be affected because it's hard to concentrate and focus when you have low energy levels. So how do you increase your energy levels?

One way to make sure that you stay healthy, is to get plenty of rest, and drink plenty of water. The recommended amount of water that a mature adult should drink is 8 glasses of water each day. Starting from today, do a count on the number of glasses of water that you consume. Do you meet the recommended requirements?

Also, there is no need to go all out of energy drinks or sugar drinks to boost your energy levels. 8 glasses of cool, plain water will do just fine. You may wish to drink at least one glass of fruit juice to supplement your vitamin needs.

Your body needs certain amount of vitamins each day to remain healthy. That means your diet must somehow contain at least a small amount of each type of vitamin (A, B complex, C, B, E, and K). A lack in one of these vitamins cannot be good for the body. You may take a multi-vitamin pill to make up for what is lacking in your daily diet. Just one pill a day is good enough. Taking more will not help improve your health.

Eating healthy means having a balanced diet. Your daily diet should contain a larger portion of greens, and less fatty meats. Meat that contains a high amount of cholesterol are known as Red Meat. Red Meat includes duck meat, beef, mutton, etc. Instead of taking such meat, consume more poultry.

Cut down on the amount of oil intake by eating food that is baked or steamed. Such cooking methods use less amount of oil, and there is a lower amount of cholesterol. If oil is really necessary, try to use vegetable oils.

When you eat right, take plenty of rest, and exercise regularly, you will find yourself charged with higher energy levels, and your metabolism rate will also improve. This happens naturally. Your quality of life, will be directly impacted as you feel healthier, and can lead a fuller life.

What Is Rattan Furniture?

Rattan furniture is believed to have been around since early Egyptians days and is still going strong today with vibrant designs and colors to choose from.

Although rattan is said to have many purposes, some of which are of a disciplinary nature, such as caning, here a look will be taken at how it is used to make furniture and what that furniture is. First, a brief explanation of the origin of rattan may help lay the foundation for an excellent understanding of rattan furniture and what it is.

Rattan is a common name that can be in reference to more than 500 different types of palms. These palms are primarily indigenous to the areas of Africa and Asia. In general, the rattan palm is 2 to 5 centimeters in diameter and on the surface have an appearance similar to their close relative, the bamboo. Rattan is not to be mistaken for bamboo, however, since it is strong and more solid, often with large trunks that stand erect and spines that can grow upward over other vegetation.

Rattan furniture is the end product that comes from the rattan product. There are many different ways to turn this durable product into both baskets and furniture. When it is cut into usable sections, this wood can be used for furniture pieces such as chairs and tables. There is no way to list the many different types of furniture fashioned from rattan in a small place such as this descriptive.

Sometimes confused with wicker, it should be noted that rattan furniture is also described as rattan peel, straw, banana leaf, willow, cane and rush. Rattan furniture is designed for almost any room indoors or outdoors. The strips of rattan are often made as joint wraps and demonstrate decorative beauty as well as sturdiness. Considered to be one of the strongest types of wood known to man, rattan furniture is not extremely expensive as compared to other types of furniture constructed from manmade materials such as wrought iron, aluminum and steel.

Although rattan furniture is unique for its respective qualities, it is also similar to wicker and sometimes mistaken for it. Rattan, in its natural form, is typically cut into pieces that are approximately 15 to 20 feet in length. These pieces are shipped in bundles to furniture makers who then steam, bend and shape the rattan into various pieces of furniture ranging from beds to sofas to entire furniture sets for most rooms inside and outside the house.

Rattan furniture has been around for ages. Some scientists believe that chairs and other pieces of furniture were formed from rattan during the days of ancient Egyptians. Victorian-style pieces, dating back to the time of 1837 are consider classics and are often reproduced in modern designs made to recreate the antique Victorian look.

If you are in the market for rattan furniture, you can expect to make a purchase that will provide you with furniture that is strong, fashionable, made from natural products and designed to last a very long time, even with daily use such as that in regular living areas. Rattan furniture comes in a variety of colors and styles to choose from.

The Difference Between Rattan and Other Furniture

Countless types and styles of furniture currently exist but none are quite the same as rattan furniture in natural beauty and function.

There are many different types of furniture on the market today. Perhaps as many styles and designs exist as the imagination can bring to mind. These various types are available in just as many different types of materials. In the past, some were not even a consideration for becoming furniture but today are just as commonplace as household kitchen utensils that we use to cook and eat with.

One type of furniture that has been around for ages is rattan. Rattan furniture is said to have origins which source back to the early Egyptian era when it was fashioned into chairs and baskets and other pieces of functional furniture that provided beauty, resilience and long lasting use. This gives rattan a distinction from many other types of furniture just by virtue of its ability to withstand years of use and remain both functional and fashionable.

Furniture can be constructed from a great deal of materials today. These materials include manmade materials such as aluminum, steel and recycled plastic. The difference between rattan furniture and furniture fashioned from these manmade materials is that rattan is a natural product that is grown in jungles of areas such as Africa and Asia. In additional to be a naturally grown product, rattan furniture is used in its same state by being cut, steamed and bent in constructs that are long lasting and sensitive to the earth when they must be disposed of. The manmade exception is recycled plastic, which is Green friendly but lasts for years and is not disposed of that readily.

It should not be misconstrued, however, that rattan is the only natural material used to make furniture. There are many other natural materials used today. Some of these natural products include many types of wood such as oak, cherry, pine, chestnut and walnut. When it comes to these wood materials, they are not as easily turned into furniture as rattan is. Additionally, they require treating, are typically not as visually appealing, provide less comfort due to their inflexible nature and can have tendencies to splinter, warp and need regular staining or painting touch up to keep a polished look.

If you are considering furniture and want to consider the difference between rattan and other types of furniture, take the time to research the various kinds of furniture that are currently on the market. Determine what the primary use for your furniture will be and where it will be located. Although rattan furniture can work well both indoors and outdoors, like wicker some care must be taken when using rattan for outdoor furniture.

For example, painted or stained rattan should not be left in prolonged sunlight for extended periods of time as this may cause fading or partial discoloration to such surfaces. Likewise, rattan furniture is sturdy and meant for regular use but it should be protected from direct exposure to rain and moisture that can cause damage to tied joints and other parts of rattan furniture. With the right research, you can make the choice on where to place rattan furniture in your decorating scheme of things.
